Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Bed & Bounty, published by Janet Media Group, collects when you visit the site and what happens to it. It covers this website only, not the retailers we link to.

• Analytics data. We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are read and how people arrive. It records things like page views, approximate location at country or region level, device type and referring site. It does not tell us who you are.
• Contact form submissions. If you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address and message you send so we can reply. That is the only personal information we actively collect.
• Standard server logs. Like any website, requests are logged by our hosting provider, including IP address and browser user agent. These are used for security and diagnostics.

• We do not run a newsletter or maintain a mailing list.
• We do not sell, rent or share personal information with third parties for marketing.
• We do not require or offer accounts, so there is no login and no stored profile.
• We do not take payments, so no payment details ever reach this site.

Two kinds of cookie are relevant here.

• Analytics cookies are set by Google Analytics to distinguish returning visits from new ones. You can block them with a browser setting or extension and the site will work normally.
• Affiliate cookies are set by the retailer, not by us, when you click a buy link. They allow the retailer to attribute a purchase to this site so we receive a commission. They are typically short-lived -- Amazon's is generally 24 hours.

We do not set advertising cookies of our own and we do not run display advertising on this site.

• Google Analytics processes the analytics data described above under Google's own privacy terms.
• Amazon and any other retailer we link to processes your activity on their site under their privacy policy, not ours. Once you leave this site we have no visibility of what you do.
• Our hosting provider processes server logs to deliver the site.

Messages sent through the contact form are delivered by email to janet.hoyo@yahoo.com and kept only as long as needed to handle the enquiry. We do not add contact form addresses to any list.

• Block analytics with a browser setting, an extension, or a do-not-track preference. Nothing on the site depends on it.
• Clear affiliate cookies through your browser at any time.
• Ask us to delete a contact form message and its email record by writing to us.

This site is written for adults buying garden equipment and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

If this policy changes, the updated date at the top of this page changes with it. Material changes will be described here rather than made silently.
